Power: 2500W
Type: Fin stabilizer
Product: ODS-3000-7164
The ODS-3000 is a high-power single-phase DC/AC inverter delivering 2400–4000 W with selectable 120 or 230 Vac output. Accepting input voltages from 24 to 300 Vdc, it covers one of the widest input ranges in its class. All standard models comply with EN50155 for rolling stock.
Two-stage cascade topology (DC/DC + DC/AC), 3000 Vrms isolation, efficiency up to 91%. Maximum average power and peak current protection, input under-voltage disable, RS232 (PAM Tool), and isolated solid-state relay contacts. Accessory: ACI-3000 inrush current limiter.
- Output: 2400–4000 W, 120 or 230 Vac single-phase pure sine wave, selectable 50/60 Hz, adjustable output voltage
- Input: 7 voltage versions — 24, 36, 48, 72, 110, 120, 300 Vdc (covers low-voltage batteries to high-voltage DC bus)
- Control & monitoring: RS232 remote control; alarm by isolated relay contacts; remote off opto-coupled; remote inhibit
- Isolation: 3000 Vrms; efficiency up to 91%
- Standards: EN50155 railway version (optional); EN45545-2 fire & smoke certified
In marine fin stabilizer applications, this inverter supplies controlled AC power to brushless servo motors with electromagnetic brakes driving active fin stabilizer systems such as the CMC Marine Stabilis Electra series. The inverter converts the vessel's onboard DC bus into the precise variable-frequency AC required for vector-controlled (FOC) motor drives, enabling fin rotation speeds exceeding 80°/s for real-time roll suppression at sea. Operating across a 200–400 Vac output range (single-phase or three-phase depending on stabilizer model), it must sustain continuous duty cycles, resist salt-air corrosion and hull vibration, and comply with marine classification standards such as IEC 60945, DNV, and RINA. Supported stabilizer range spans yachts from 12 m to superyachts over 60 m.
