In marine fin stabilizer applications, this inverter supplies controlled AC power to brushless servo motors with electromagnetic brakes driving active fin stabilizer systems such as the CMC Marine Stabilis Electra series. The inverter converts the vessel's onboard DC bus into the precise variable-frequency AC required for vector-controlled (FOC) motor drives, enabling fin rotation speeds exceeding 80°/s for real-time roll suppression at sea. Operating across a 200–400 Vac output range (single-phase or three-phase depending on stabilizer model), it must sustain continuous duty cycles, resist salt-air corrosion and hull vibration, and comply with marine classification standards such as IEC 60945, DNV, and RINA. Supported stabilizer range spans yachts from 12 m to superyachts over 60 m.
